Jenna Halloran Karl is a EMDRIA Certified Therapist, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in MA, and Licensed Clinical Social Worker in NY and ME. Jenna specializes in EMDR Therapy, working with adults and college/graduate students with mental health challenges, trauma, relationship issues, life changes and transitions. Jenna has completed advanced trainings in working with Complex Trauma, PTSD, Dissociative Disorders, as well as Co-occuring disorders including Eating Disorders, Substance Use, and Medical Issues. She has experience working in inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings since completing her MSW from Simmons University. Jenna is currently the President of the Simmons School of Social Work Alumni Board and a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and EMDRIA.
Jenna’s style to therapy is relational, interactive, warm, and supportive. Jenna takes a strengths-based approach to helping her clients navigate periods of distress and uncertainty and partners with them on their healing journey. Treatment is completely individualized and integrative, where we work together to establish goals and pull from a number of therapeutic modalities (EMDR, CBT, DBT, Mindfulness). Jenna is familiar with the many changes and challenges individuals encounter during periods of transition. Jenna enjoys helping her clients identify their strengths and adaptations, develop new coping strategies to better manage stress, relationships, communication, and heal from trauma to improve your quality of life.

Samantha has expertise in providing family counseling to caregivers, helping families cope with diagnoses, and navigate care. She has worked in a variety of settings including both inpatient and outpatient mental health clinics. Samantha is trained in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing.
